End of Term!!
Sports days
Today, 20th July KS2 have their sports day starting at 1.30pm on the running track near the Station Gym.
Tomorrow 21st July it's the turn of EYFS and KS1 here at school at 10.00.
Arts Mark Gold
The school has been awarded this mark in recognition of the enormous amount of work that goes into providing a varied and rich “Arts” curriculum for the children.

Healthy School Award
Brüggen School has met the criteria of the National Healthy Schools Programme and has been awarded National Healthy School Status from 1st Oct 09 and it is valid for 3 years. The House Captains received the Award and a Plaque on behalf of Brüggen School during assembly on Friday 26th February 2010.

Naafi Christmas Decoration Competition
Congratulations to the winners of the Naafi Christmas Decoration Competition. 1st Prizes went to Samiyah Johnson Y4, Amelia Harrison Y4, Erin Reveley Y1 and Connor Wheeler Y1. 2nd Prizes went to Francesca Stoker Y4, Megan Wilkinson Y3, Anna Wedge Y3 and Isobel Nowosielski Y5. 3rd Prizes went to Lucy Wedge Y1, Thomas Roberts Y1, Jack McMillan FS1 and Alex McAdam Y1. Can we say a big thank you to Mike Melia and his staff for his help and for providing the prizes. The decorations are now on display in the Naafi.
Video Conference with Santa!!
On Friday 4th December we managed to get a video conference with a very busy Santa for the all the FS Children.
Inter-School Cross Country
On Wednesday 18th November children from KS2 took part in an Inter-School Cross Country Competition held at Wildenrath Forest. Overall the Girls finished 2nd and the Boys finished 5th. In individual races Megan Heeney from Y5 finished 2nd and Lewis Bate-Jones from Y4 finished 3rd. Well done to you all.
Good Work Assembly - Friday 23rd October 2009
On Friday 23rd October 2009 we had a Good Work Assembly and children from each year stood at the front and showed the rest of the school some work that they have been doing in their classes this week. Well done!!
Golden Assembly Friday 16th October 2009
This morning we had a Golden Assembly and 7 pupils were given a certificate and written in the Golden book for excellent work and effort in their classes this week. Well done!!

On Friday 9th October 2009 we had a 'Good Work' Assembly and a few of the children stood up at the front and showed the rest of the school things they had been doing in their classes this week.
